mindRAMP offers engaging live workshops, presentations, seminars and keynote addresses on a range of brain health topics. Program lengths range from as short as 45 minutes to full-day or multi-day seminars depending upon the needs of your group. Each presentation is grounded in current scientific research about the power and potential of mature minds and is presented in easy-to-understand language designed to be highly engaging for a general audience.

What mindRAMP workshops and presentations are all about
Participants learn about the amazing "plasticity," or flexibility of the aging brain and how new research reveals the potential for continued growth, creativity and wisdom of the mature mind. The mindRAMP workshops and presentations help participants understand how the brain works and what they can do to protect their brain health and increase their creative thinking skills. The presentations encourage participants to take control of their brain health by initiating their own personalized brain health plans.

mindRAMP offers workshops and presentations through a variety of organizations that serve older adults in Washington DC and Portland Oregon, as well as other locations around the country. The mindRAMP curriculum is customized to suit the particular needs of each partner organization and targets concerns of older adults, families and caregivers, as well as professionals who want to learn how to promote brain health in mature minds. mindRAMP has presented at churches and synagogues, at senior centers and residential facilities, as well as at professional conferences and retreats. Costs for the workshops are usually covered by sponsoring organizations.

The mindRAMP Brain Wellness Series

The mindRAMP Brain Wellness Series (BWS 101 & BWS 102) consists of two, four-part, courses that cover the basic information you will need to develop your own, do-it-yourself brain health program. Brain Health 101 provides a comprehensive introduction to the basic principles of brain health and cognitive enhancement. Brain Health 102 focuses more specifically on the mindRAMP CogWheels of brain health, the six key areas that have the greatest impact on lowering risks for cognitive decline and dementia. BWS 101 and 102 are offered both as live presentations and through webinars.
